About

Engineer, Founder, Operator

I have worked in IT services since 2000, starting in the world of high-availability infrastructure — UPS systems, mission-critical data centres, the engineering side of how the internet stays standing. Over the years that work moved into adjacent fields: smart-city infrastructure, scalable media platforms, and now personal security, identity management, and AI-driven retail technology.

I founded Brooks & Keitt, the Swiss firm behind ProntoID, to focus on the intersection of those threads. Identity verification, age verification, and digital compliance for content creators and sensitive digital markets sit at the centre of what we do. Most of the work is unglamorous — writing the rules, drawing the boundaries, deciding what a tool should not do as carefully as what it should — but it is the kind of work that determines whether a platform survives contact with reality.

I write here when I have something specific to say about how ProntoID products are designed, why they are designed that way, and what creators, photographers, models, and platforms can actually expect from them. The aim is to be useful rather than promotional, and to be honest about the boundaries of every system I help build.

Release Forms and the Right to Be Forgotten: The Two Layers Most Photographers and Models Conflate

A release is a contract. The right to be forgotten is a statutory right. The gap between them is where compliance actually fails.

A model release is a contract. The right to be forgotten is a statutory right. They are not the same kind of instrument, and pretending one cancels the other is the single most common cause of compliance failure in photography work.

ProntoTag Is the Compliance Layer — Not the Delete Button. And That Is by Design.

Why ProntoTag signals, records, and attests — but deliberately does not delete content.

ProntoTag carries verified consent and verified withdrawal of consent between photographers, models, and platforms. It signals, it records, it attests. It deliberately does not delete content — and that boundary is what makes it work.
