Release Management

Releases that
don't sit in
a drawer.

ProntoID turns release forms into living records — each one tied to a verified signer, the content it covers, and the platforms where it's in use. Everyone involved sees exactly what they need.

The Problem

Static PDFs leave
everyone guessing

A signed form in a folder answers one question — that someone signed something, once. It can't tell you who they really were, what it covers today, or where it's being relied on.

Creators & photographers

Dozens of files across folders and email threads, with no single view of which releases are signed, missing or withdrawn.

Performers

No visibility into where their content ends up, or which release a platform is relying on to publish it.

Platforms

Asked by acquirers and regulators to evidence age and consent for every person depicted — with no way to check a PDF is genuine.

Everyone

When consent is disputed, there's no shared record of what was agreed, by whom, and what changed afterwards.

Chain of Consent

Every link,
on the record

From the moment a release is created to the day content comes down, each step is tied to a verified person and a timestamp — a tamper-evident trail that every linked party can rely on.

  1. 1

    Release created

The creator sends a digital release by QR code or emailed link — or uploads a scan they already hold.

  2. 2

    Signer verified

The person signing completes ProntoID verification: document capture, biometric liveness and age check.

  3. 3

    Release sealed

The signed declaration is hashed (SHA-256), timestamped and linked to the signer's verification token.

  4. 4

    Content tagged

On connected platforms, content is tagged with ProntoTag and linked to the releases that cover it.

  5. 5

    Performer approves

Each tagged performer confirms their appearance and can see where that content is published.

  6. 6

    Changes recorded

Withdrawals, amendments and takedowns are logged against the release, visible to every linked party.

Built for Every Party

The right view
for each role

Each participant sees what they need to act — and nothing that belongs to someone else.

Common
questions

Everything you need to know about managing releases with ProntoID. Can't find the answer? Contact us.

A folder holds files. ProntoID holds records: each release is bound to the verified identity of the person who signed it, carries a SHA-256 document hash, and is linked to the content and platforms it covers. You can see at a glance which releases are signed, pending, withdrawn or in use — and anyone you share a record with can check it has not been altered.
Yes. Release Forms supports two routes: upload a scanned release you already hold, or send a digital release for the other party to sign by QR code or emailed link. Uploaded scans are stored and indexed alongside digital ones, though only digitally signed releases carry a ProntoID identity verification.
No. Release Forms covers any production where someone appears or contributes — photography, video, streaming, podcasts and music sessions as well as adult content.
Not on its own, and we don't claim it does. ProntoID provides identity, age and authorisation evidence. 28 C.F.R. § 75.2 requires per-depiction records that stay with the producer, and under § 75.2(h) using a third party never transfers that liability. See our § 2257 guide for platforms for what a complete record set needs.
When content is tagged with ProntoTag on a connected platform, each tagged performer is asked to approve their appearance and can see where that content is published. Content distributed outside connected platforms is not tracked automatically.
Yes. Consent to publish is revocable, and a prior signature does not defeat a valid removal request — including under the TAKE IT DOWN Act, whose 48-hour notice-and-removal obligations became enforceable on 19 May 2026. Withdrawal is recorded against the release, so everyone linked to it sees the change and its date.
